In the top of the table clash, Colly Wobblers emerged victorious over Whippet, thanks to 20 points from Pat Gibson. Unison had a comfortable win against Gang of Four; Alan Gibbs (20) top scored for the winners. In the other game Rugby Hounds drew with Squigglers. Thanks to Ormskirk Tennis Club for setting the questions and officiating.

Whippet remain top after a comfortable win over Gang of Four; Peter Duffy top scored with 17. Pat Gibson’s 16 points aided Colly Wobblers’ win over Ormskirk Tennis Club and keeps them in second place. Unison opened their account with a victory over Rugby Hounds; Charles Johnson and Alan Gibbs led the scoring with 15 points each. Many thanks to the Squigglers quiz team for setting the questions and officiating.

The opening week of the online quiz began with three matches and the questions set by Unison. An impressive 20 points from Peter Duffy assured Whippet a win over Rugby Hounds. Despite 15 points each from Janet Crompton and Barry Marshall, Squigglers lost to Colly Wobblers for whom Pat Gibson scored 18 and Gary Grant 15. A steady team performance saw Gang of Four home against Ormskirk Tennis Club for whom Paul Prior scored an excellent 20 points.
