Division 1 - Old Dog remain at the top with a comfortable win over Robin Hood. Unbeaten Greyhound move up to second with comprehensive thrashing of Colly Wobblers. Andy Francis was again on form for Greyhound with a full house and a total of 25 points. Unison won a much closer match with Rugby Hounds for whom David Hodgson scored 21. Paul Prior also notched up 21 for Ormskirk Tennis Club in their narrow win over Helenians.
Division 2 - Newburgh Lions and Abbey Saints remain at the top with easy wins against Benchwarmers and Whippet respectively. Parbold Exiles beat Red Lion (Burscough) to move up to third. Top scores in Div 2 were Kevin Walton with 19 for Abbey Saints, Bill Gerrard also with 19 for Abbey Sinners, and Colin Shaw with 18 for Newburgh Lions.

Division 1 Old Dog beat Unison 50 - 46 in the battle at the top, with Pat Gibson and Darren Martin both scoring 19 points. Other Monday games were low scoring and close with good wins for Farmers Arms over Rugby Hounds, Colly Wobblers over Squigglers and Helenians (with only 3 players!) over Robin Hood. Top score in the division was Charles Johnson for Farmers Arms with 20 points. Greyhound go joint second with a comfortable win against Gang of Four on Tuesday's set. Andy Francis scored 19 points for Greyhound.
Division 2 Newburgh Lions and Abbey Saints both won to remain 1st and 2nd. Whippet move up to 3rd with a win over Ormskirk Farmers. First wins for Aughton Institute and Red Lion (Burscough), for whom Steve Garrett had the division's top score with 18.

The first matches in the Round Robin stage take place on Wednesday with all three Ormskirk teams at home. In Group 1 Unison entertain Oxton Cons from Wirral. In Group 2 Wheatsheaf entertain Judges from Liverpool. In Group 4 Colly Wobblers entertain Exiles from Liverpool.

Division 1 Comfortable wins for top two, Old Dog and Unison with Greyhound in 3rd with 3 wins out of 3. Also a good win for Robin Hood over Wheatsheaf. Top scores of the week were Ray Oakes for Old Dog with 22, and Janet Crompton & Darren Martin with 21 against Gang of Four and Helenians respectively.
Division 2 Newburgh Lions, for whom Jim Maloney had the week's top score with 24, remain top after beating OCC. Abbey Saints are second after a comfortable win over Benchwarmers. Parbold Exiles remain unbeaten and move up to 3rd.
